He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudy Schleben and Martha Schleben; his brother Mark Schleben; and his brothers-in-law, Herb Mueller and Bob Mueller.

He is survived by: his wife Dev Mueller; his children, Nicki Judd (Tom), Brad Schleben (Sam) and Jenna Salvati (Matt); his grandchildren, Savannah, Ellieanna and Vivienne Judd; his children, Ava, Jase Salvati and Eloise Schleben; his sister Barbara Appold (Jerry); and his siblings-in-law, Ruth Schroeder (Jeff), Faith Mueller, Theresa Delaplain, Jonathan Mueller, Tim Mueller (Dawn) and Bill Mueller (Julie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Our Savior Lutheran Endowment Fund in Jim's memory.
