He was predeceased by: his parents, George Walin and Ethel Walin (Beatty); and his wife Sally Walin. He is survived by: his children, Mike Walin (Donna), Cindy Hammerbacher (Gale) and Gretchen Meeker (Dan); and his grandchildren, Bridgette Schuch (Jeff), John Walin, Stefanie Parker (Paul), Sheri Streeting (Ty), Jeffrey Meeker, Scott Meeker (Erin), Danna Ferris (Brent), Jack Meeker, Annie Meeker, Anthony Garcia (Jackie), Krista Haapala (Brian) and Trisha Gielda (David). He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
