He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore "Ted" Johnson and Margaret Johnson (Cahalan); his wife Carolyn E. VanSumeren; his mother-in-law Irene VanSumeren (Wiedyk); and his brothers, James Johnson and Edward "Bud" VanSumeren (Donna).
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Smigiel, Jill Moore (Todd) and James Johnson; his granddaughters, Emily Gokey (Austin) and Hailey Moore; his great grandchild Henry Gokey; his sisters, Mary Kaye Parlberg (LeRoy), Judy Tacey (Richard), Elizabeth Hugo (Alan) and Kathy Douponce (Mark); Doug and Amy Richardson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Donations in honor of Mick's memory may be directed to the Knights of Columbus Council #2740 Scholarship Fund or to the donor's favorite charity.
