He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles C. Ryan and Ardith Ryan (De Vinney); his siblings, Charles E. Ryan and Kathleen C. Ryan; and his nephew Kevin M. Ryan.
He is survived by: his son Gregory Ryan of Bloomfield Hills; his stepdaughter Tatum (Scott Garzell); his siblings, Thomas Ryan (Patricia) of Mt. Pleasant, Louise Ryan of Bay City, Mary Sheneman of Essexville and Patricia Howard (William) of Essexville; his grandchildren, Ethan and Ella Garzell; his nephews, John Sheneman, Eric Ryan, Mark Ryan and Austin Howard; Rene Ryan.
