Judith A. ShooltzBay City, MichiganJudith Ann Shooltz 86 of Bay City, MI also known by Judy, passed away into the arms of Jesus peacefully at home July 2, 2026. She was born on November 29, 1939, to Carl and Mary Lawrence of Bay City, MI. She married her husband Thomas L. Shooltz November 28, 1959.
Over the years she was a seamstress, homemaker, and served several years as the Ladies auxiliary president of the American Legion in Bay City, MI. She also dressed up as JuJu the clown for many of the American legion parties many years ago. She loved to crochet, bake and cook, and make homemade chocolate suckers for her children and grandchildren. She loved to sit on her back porch and watch the birds and spend time with her family. She had three children and one stepdaughter. She was proceeded in death by her husband Thomas, daughter Doris Bodrie, stepdaughter Diana Dockett, her parents as well as both her brothers Bob and Karl Lawrence. She is survived by her sons Daniel and Charles Shooltz as well as 9 grandchildren, and several great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren as well as some nieces and nephews. She was funny and always could make people smile and laugh. Loving and thoughtful and genuinely a wonderful person to be around. Knowing Judy was a joy and blessing and she will be missed by many. She was a member of Gateway Family Worship in Bay City, MI for 15-16 years.
No funeral service will be had but a dinner or cookout will be held at a later date yet to be determined.
