He was predeceased by: his father Oscar Lutz; his sisters, Vernetta (Howard Weiss) and Doraine Lutz; his sister-in-law Barb Lutz (Delmar); his brothers, Gerald (Mary Jo Lutz) and Elden Lutz; and his daughter Cheryl Lynn Lutz.
He is survived by: his wife Betty (Wiesenauer); his children, Cindy Brownlee (Jim) and Glenn Lutz (Ann); his grandchildren, James "LJ" Brownlee (Taylor), Trista Hilgendorf (TJ), Claire Brownlee, Wayne Schwind and Rachel Lawler (David); his siblings, Delmar, Benny, Lou Ann Feinauer (Rich) and Mary Revord (Allen); and his siblings-in-law, Edna Kennedy and Art Pfund. He is also survived by nieces and nephews on both the Lutz side of his family and the Wiesenauer side of wife.
