She is survived by: her sons, John II Shimmel (Amanda), David Shimmel (Sarah) and Dillon Burgett; and her grandchildren, Brittany Shimmel (Mikey Comeau), Kaitlyn Shimmel, David Shimmel, Bianca Economides (Brian), McKenna Taylor, Joseph Shimmel and Samantha Shimmel. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
