He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Klamer and Verna Klamer (Jungman); his parents-in-law, Joseph and Elizabeth Soehnel (Slabic); his siblings, Duane Klamer and Ruth Ann Perry (Klamer); his siblings-in-law, Theresa Kozak (Robert), Francis Soehnel, Chet Soehnel and Joe Soehnel; and his nieces and nephews, Ari Golden, Aaron Soehnel, Karen Klamer and Mary Ann Kozak.

He is survived by: his son Rev. Lance Klamer (Melissa) of Fowler; his grandchildren, Lydia, Christiana, Carl and Jakob Klamer; his brother Ron Klamer (Josette); and his siblings-in-law, Darlene Klamer, Patricia Soehnel, Judy Soehnel, June Soehnel, Anna Harper (William), Barbara Handy and Anthony Soehnel (Karen).
