She is survived by: her husband Donald Herek; her children, Edward Herek (Amy), Pamela Herek and Robert Herek (Sara); her grandchildren, Kelsey, Mychael, Alexis, Brenden (Hannah), Lauren, Cooper, Grayson, Janelle, Garrett and Mason; her brothers, Lawrence and Gene McCoy (Fred); her siblings-in-law, Daniel Herek, Thomas Herek (Bev), Ronald Ostash, Diane Wojciechowski (Tom), Barbara Petcher and Sue Herek; and her pet Toby. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ambrose Funeral Home (1200 Garfield Ave, Bay City, MI 48708). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
