He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Szczepanski and Dorothy Szczepanski (Spica); his granddaughter Marlee Chaperon; his parents-in-law, Harold and Irene Vermeesch; and his brother-in-law Lonnie Higgins.
He is survived by: his wife Joan I. Vermeesch; his daughter Becky Bonner (Tony); his grandsons, Tyler Chaperon and Bryce Bonner; his great grandchildren, Payton and Elias; and his sister Claudia Higgins.
