With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mark L. Nelson of Bay City, Michigan, who passed away on December 12, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Jr. Nelson and Eva Nelson; his close friend Sharon Minnock; and his brother David. He is survived by: his son Nhut Air Base (Saigon); his sister Joan Nelson of Lansing; and his nephew Peter Nelson of Brooklyn, NY. He is also survived by many loving cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Squires Funeral Home (211 N Henry St, Bay City, MI 48706). A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
