He was predeceased by: his father Robert J. Derr. He is survived by: his mother Marietta Marciniak; his stepfather Kenneth Marciniak of Essexville; his sister Jennifer Ham (Jon) of Allendale; his stepsiblings, Thomas Marciniak (Amy), Tony Marciniak (Karrie) and Tammy Eckerd (Ken); his aunts and uncles, Margaret Krantz, James Hages, Jacqueline and Bruce Burkel; his friend Missy; his caregivers, Kassie and Jackie; and his grandchildren, Hages, Elizabeth, Robert Garvin and James Krantz. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Until Covid restrictions came into effect, Mark was very active at the North Bay Activity Center in Kawkawlin where he made many good friends over the years.
