Michael L. St. Martin Obituary

Michael Lee St. Martin "Mike", age 56, passed away peacefully at home on September 12, 2026. Mike was born on February 25, 1970, in Bay City, Michigan, to Lee and Jane St. Martin.

Mike married his wife, Tammy St. Martin, on February 24, 2004, and together they made their home in Kawkawlin, Michigan.

Anyone who knew Mike knew that he had a tough outer shell, but those closest to him knew the caring and selfless man underneath. Mike wasn't always a man of many words, and he didn't need to be. He showed his love through his actions. Whether he was fixing something, lending a hand, helping with a project, or simply making sure the people he loved were taken care of, Mike was someone his family could always count on. Acts of service were simply his way of saying, "I love you.".

Mike graduated from Pinconning High School in 1988, followed by attending Denver Automotive & Diesel College. Mike was handy by nature and had an extreme passion for cars. Mike enjoyed both drag racing and stock car racing. He also loved collecting Hot Wheels and die-cast cars. His ability to fix just about anything and his lifelong love of all things automotive were a big part of what made Mike who he was.

Mike is survived by his wife, Tammy St. Martin; his children, Amanda St. Martin, Kyle St. Martin, Dylan (Mackenzie) St. Martin, and Seth St. Martin; his stepdaughter, Stephanie (Marcus) Spaller; his parents, Lee and Jane St. Martin; his siblings, Dawn St. Martin and Mark (Kim) St. Martin; and his nephews, Logan St. Martin, Gavin St. Martin, and Mason St. Martin, along with extended family and loved ones.

Mike will be remembered as handy, selfless, strong-willed, and dependable. He was always willing to help the people he cared about. While he may not always have put his feelings into words, he had his own way of making sure his family knew how much they meant to him.

His family will remember his tough exterior and the big heart underneath it, his love of cars and racing, the things he could fix, the help he gave without hesitation, and the countless ways he quietly showed his love throughout his life.

For Mike, actions often spoke louder than words—and his actions said more than enough.

Funeral service will be on Friday September 18, 2026, at 7pm with Jeremy Hartwick presiding with a private burial at Bentley Township cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday at Rivertown Funeral Chapel from 2pm till 7pm.
