With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Patricia (Germain) J. Hartz in Bay City, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 7, 2025 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Germain and Maude Germain (Streu); and her husband Ronald A. Hartz. She is survived by: her children, Colleen T. Betzold (David) and Douglas R. Hartz (Holly); her grandchildren, Bethany LaFray (Betzold), Shaun Betzold, Adam Betzold, Dustin Hartz and Kaitlin McDaniel (Luke); and her great grandchildren, Hannah Post (Megan), Brendan LaFray, Alexis Betzold, Maci Betzold, Paisley Betzold, Jonah Hartz, Luna Hartz and Amelia McDaniel.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Gephart Funeral Home (201 W Midland St, Bay City, MI 48706).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be considered to wishes of the family, McLaren Hospice or to Bay County Humane Society.
