With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paula Hidalgo of Bay City, Michigan, born in Hondo, Texas, who passed away on August 8, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pedro Hernandez and Theodora Hernandez (Moncada); her sons, Juan Cortez and Chris Hidalgo; her grandson Alonzo Frankie Martinez; and her siblings, Socorro Hernandez, Ramona Garcia (Hernandez), Candalaria Villareal (Hernandez) and Mary Hernandez.
She is survived by: her daughters, Paula Cortez of Bay City, Jaime Chinnery (James) of Bridgeport, Laura Martinez of Holland, Debra Hidalgo of Saginaw and Lisa Hernandez of Bay City. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
