He was predeceased by : his parents, Rose Talbert Bauer and Robert W. Bauer; his sister Jacqueline Gaffney Andrick; and his daughter Kathleen Reichenbach Pillars. He is survived by : his wife Juanita "Nina" Rounds Bauer; his children, James Richard Bauer (Pamela), Lori Lee Bauer, Kristin Kay Bauer, Ellie Franklin (Nate) and Billy Reichenbach (Irene); his grandchildren, Katherine Davis (Aaron), Sarah Bauer (Timothy Roy), Alex Wernette (Nicole), Audrey Bauer, Jillian Wernette, Danielle Spiekerman and Claire Wernette; and his great grandchildren, Berkeley, Willow Davis, Michael and Aurora Wernette.
