He is survived by: his wife Elaine Cooper (Gatza); his daughters, Sandra Vitek (James), Michelle Neering (Shawn) and Stephanie Cooper (Jack Jayo); his grandchildren, James Vitek, Stephen Vitek, Kristen Vitek, Zachary Vitek, Alex Neering (Summer), Nicholas Neering and Courtney Smith (Joe); his great grandchild Savannah Smith; and his siblings-in-law, Charlotte Ternes Baker, Eleanor Weber, Janet Winling (Larry), Ann Gobeski (Keith), Kathryn Gatza, Lawrence Gatza and Ron Piland. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
