He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Heinz and Jane Heinz (MacGregor); his sister Barbara Esseltine; and his sons-in-law, Gary Hammerbacher and Kenneth Blank.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Wegener; his daughters, Debra Peterson (Karl), Cheryl Blank, Susan Hammerbacher and Wendy Heinz; and his grandchildren, Ashley Billings (Thomas), Stephanie Petrimoulx (Jeffrey), Amy Vietengruber (Casey) and Brooke Madigan (Ryan). He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
