Robert James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lasko Kochalka and Mary Kochalka (Dvorski); his wife Mary Kochalka (Sian); his son Robbie Kochalka; and his siblings, Mary, Joseph and Donald.

He is survived by: his children, Lori Burnell (Brian), Karen DeJager (Paul), Frederick Sian and Travis Kochalka (Sabrinnah Short); his grandchildren, Kelsey Bollinger (Stephen), Loren Burnell, Cheryl DeJager, Christine Flanagan (Nate), Tracy DeJager, Victoria Schaaf and Sabastian Freeman; and his sisters, Catherine Mikel and Jane Jefferys.
