With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Lee Gilbert Sr. of Bay City, Michigan, who passed away on January 12, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Lyle G. Gilbert; his wife Christeene Black; and his brother Thomas Gilbert. He is survived by: his children, Kellie Johns (Brent), Robert Gilbert, II (Melissa) and Anthony Mellon; his grandchildren, Eric Mellon, Hillary Mellon, Jacob Mellon (Ashley), Travis Mellon (Kristin), Nicole Gilbert (Nathan Stark), Kyrstyn Johns and Kayla Gilbert; his siblings, Janet Koscki (Robert) and Arthur Gilbert (Janet); and his friend Ginger Hazlinsky. He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
