He was predeceased by: his parents, Aloysius Block and Hazel Block; his significant other Jill McCollum; his wife Jill Block; his grandchildren, Bryen and Jesyka; and his daughter-in-law Anne Block.

He is survived by: his children, Lisa Tharpe, Ken Block and Amy Jo Block-Rosenbrock (Harold); his grandchildren, Nykole (Ryan), Brytni "Brytsi Boo", Devin, Sara, Wendy, Jazmynn "Jazzy" and Raegyn; his great grandchild Raeynn; his close friend Joy Billette; and his pet Lacie.

Always ready to lend a hand, whether through his frequent blood donation or the care he had for his loved ones.
