She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore W. Meagher and Inez A. Meagher (Webb); and her sisters, Peggy Meagher and Kathleen Dent. She is survived by: her children, Paul DeWaele, III (Carrie) of Mars, PA and Gretchen McEachern (Chris) of Macomb, MI; her grandchildren, Sarah Meador (Michael), David DeWaele and Jack DeWaele; her niece Jenny Reinhardt; and her pet Alex. She is also survived by mother and grandmother.

The family suggests donations in Sharon's memory to the Good Samaritan Rescue Mission, Toni & Trish House, and McLaren Bay Medical Foundation in care of the Helen Nickless Clinic.
