He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Welter and Valerie Welter (Stachowski); his son Benjamin Welter; and his brother Joseph Welter. He is survived by: his wife Susan M. Notestine; his children, Cameron Welter, Christiana Welter (Steven Naylor), Austin Welter (Mackenzie Carano) and Alexis Welter; his siblings, Joyce Ryden (Paul), Karyn Giri and Michael Welter; and his sister-in-law Joanna Welter. He is also survived by several aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
