It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Frank Bryden Jr. of Bay City, Michigan, who passed away on April 3, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Frank Bryden, Sr. and Evelyn Lerczak of Virginia; and his sister Judy Patricia Rock (James Rock). He is survived by: his wife Ruth Nickerson-Bryden; his daughters, Rebecca Lucille Bryden and Elizabeth Evelyn Bryden-Miller (Sam); his grandchildren, Felix and Ivy Miller; and his nieces, Jennifer Hickmott (Mark), Danielle Lukowski (Brian) and Kathleen Diaz (Phil).
Always an avid reader of nonfiction science and history, memorial contributions in memory of Walt may be directed to the Bay County Library System or Bay County Animal Services and Adoption Center where he adopted his favorite walking buddy, the late Maxie the dog.
