He is survived by: his wife Connie Beard (Schmidt); his children, Alex Beard (Shannon Osburn) and Jennifer Pero (Matt); his grandchildren, Natalie, Addison Beard, Phoebe Osburn, Brett, Landric and Ashtyn Pero; and his siblings, Mary Campbell (Steven), James Palmer Beard and Thomas Hodajah Beard (Diane). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
