Roger Vollmer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger Vollmer of Bay Port, Michigan, who passed away on October 20, 2025 at the age of 71. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Roger Vollmer to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank and Phyllis (Schweitzer); his wife Judith Eckel; his brother Joseph Vollmer; and his nephew William Thick.
He is survived by: his children, Robin Rau (Michael) of Midland and Pete Vollmer of Sebewaing; his grandchildren, Piper Rau and Paige Rau; his sister Holly Thick (Michael); and his nephews, Christopher Thick (Cortney), Eric Thick (Brianne) and Ryan Thick.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Borgia Church (15 Moeller St, Pigeon, MI 48755).
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be given to Bay Port Chamber of Commerce.
