Curtis C. Price Sr. Obituary

Curtis C. Price I, known affectionately as Curt to his friends and family, passed away at the age of 61 on July 10, 2025, at MyMichigan Medical Center Midland following a brief illness. Born on January 6, 1964, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late George and Margaret (Tatroe) Price, Curt's early years were filled with the warmth of a close-knit family and the values that would shape his life.

Curt married the love of his life, Judy A. Rogers, on February 12, 1982, at Triunity Baptist Church in St. Charles, Michigan. Together, they built a life full of love, laughter, and the joy of raising their three sons: Curtis II (Beth) Price, Jeffery (Chloe) Price, and Tony (Katina) Price. Curt's legacy continued to grow with the arrival of his cherished grandchildren, Robin, Curtis III, Makenzie, Benjamin, and Jacob, who brought him immeasurable happiness. Also surviving his sister, Sherra Price; and his brother, George Price. Each of them carries forward the best of what he embodied—his handy, thoughtful, and kind nature.

Curt was well-known in the community as the owner-operator of Price Roofing and Siding Co. His reputation for quality workmanship was only surpassed by his willingness to lend a hand to anyone in need. Curt's generosity of spirit and his knack for solving problems made him a pillar in the community.

Curt's interests were as varied as they were heartfelt. He was a master of carpentry, often spending hours in his workshop creating and fixing things with a skill and precision that amazed his family and friends. Camping trips were a favorite family tradition, with Curt leading the way into the great outdoors. Fishing with his grandsons was not just a pastime but a cherished opportunity to pass on his knowledge and love for nature.

Family was the cornerstone of Curt's life. He treasured every moment spent with his loved ones, whether it was on family trips, at the casino trying his luck, or simply enjoying each other's company at home. His presence was a source of stability and warmth that drew his family together.

Curt's life was a testament to the power of love, hard work, and dedication to family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on in the memories shared, the lives he touched, and the love he spread. Curt's journey through life was one of purpose and joy, and his story will be told for generations to come.
