With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darlene McDermott of Beaverton, Michigan, who passed away on March 23, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Darlene may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Darlene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her father Basil Rummer; her husband Arthur "Lee" McDermott; her brothers, Daryl and Lowell "Scott" Rummer; and her stepfather Robert Carriveau.
She is survived by: her mother Wilma Carriveau; and her brothers, Basil Rummer Jr. (Lynn), James Rummer (Mary Jo) and Lonnie Rummer (Sheree). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
