He is survived by: his children, Amy J. Cogswell and Duane K. Govitz; his daughter-in-law Joy Govitz; his stepgrandson Brendan Schriber; and his siblings, Ken Govitz of Beaverton, John Govitz of Gladwin, Dick Govitz (Carol) of Beaverton, Betti Scully (Jack) of California and Sharon Mishler of Gladwin.
