He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lupien; his children, Krystin Wirtz, Tiffany Adams (Rob), Steven Wirtz and Ryan Wirtz (Summer); his grandchildren, Aidin Wirtz, Poppy Adams, Sonny Adams, Ryder Wirtz and Lucille Wirtz; his brothers, John Wirtz III (Susan) and Gerald Wirtz (Marilyn); his sister-in-law Mary Walters (Doc); his nephews, John Wirtz IV (Kayla), Patrick Wirtz (Mary), Matthew Wirtz (Savannah), Bradley Walters (Alyssa) and Adam Walters (Alyssa); and his aunts, Ida Winistorf and Florence Wirtz.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cunningham/Taylor Funeral Home (310 E Washington Rd, Freeland, MI 48623).
