He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Merwin Hicks and Ruth Wilcox Hicks; his wife Sally; his daughters, Julie (Matt Bryant), Lori (Scott Nevill), Jane (Adam Zdrojewski) and Tracy Hicks-Doherty (Jim); his grandchildren, Eric, Lacy Wesley, Brian Wesley, Zachary, Suzanne Nevill, Chelsea Nevill, Daniel, Stephanie Nevill, Caleb, Heather Nevill, Taylor Sutton, Sonja, Rachel, Benjamin Jorgenson, Reed Doherty, Jessica Zdrojewski, Mike, Jeremy Zdrojewski, Trisha and Benjamin Zdrojewski; his siblings, Linda Burr (Tom), Peggy McKimmy, Steve Hicks (Linda), Dick Miller and Ruth Ann Miller; and his brothers-in-law, Tom McKimmy and Sawyer. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
