He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl McDaniels and Germaine McDaniels (Dauphinais); and his siblings, Roger McDaniels, Carol McDaniels and Elaine Linneu.
He is survived by: his wife Freada Fisher; his daughter Cindy Strohschein (Mike); his grandchildren, Alex, Max and Amelia Strohschein; his brothers, Bob McDaniels (Peggy) and Mike McDaniels (Marcia); his niece Dawn; and his nephew Robby.
