She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Bartig and Betty "Lickly" Bartig; and her son-in-law Terry Geyer. She is survived by: her husband Tom Metzger; her children, Chris Metzger (Marcie) and Sarah Metzger; her grandchildren, Catilin Metzger, Ryan Metzger and Ava Metzger; and her great grandchild Alex.
