He was predeceased by: his parents, William McKimmy and Myrtle McKimmy (Keeler); and his siblings, Jolita Warren and Dirk McKimmy. He is survived by: his siblings, Marjorie Dumanois (Chuck), James "Billy" McKimmy (Lora), Sally Majeske and Micheal McKimmy (Shelly); his sister-in-law Grace McKimmy; and his close friends, Debbie (Denny), Lynette (Kevin), Lori and Rod. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 3325 M-18, Beaverton, MI 48612.
