We bid farewell to Wilma Carriveau of Beaverton, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 31, 2025 at the age of 97. Wilma touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ova Nunez and Bernice Nunez; her husband Robert; her children, Daryl, Lowell and Darlene McDermont; and her stepsons, Bobby, Patrick and Michael Carriveau.
She is survived by: her sons, Basil Rummer (Lynn), James Rummer (Mary) and Lonnie Rummer (Sheree); her stepdaughters, Denise, Beverly, Debbie and Jeanne; her brother Boyd Nunez; and her grandchildren, Tracy, Buck Gorges, Tesha, Scott McFarland, Alisa, Johnny Abshire, Basil Rummer III, Hardy, Lori, Julie, Sam, John, Monica, Melissa, Tonya, Jeremy and Jamie Lee. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Calendar Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home (440 E Cedar Ave, Gladwin, MI 48624). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
