She was predeceased by : her parents, Margaret Dorothy and Hans Burley Nielsen. She is survived by : her husband Richard Deitz (Dick); her siblings, Vern Elwood Nielsen, Mercedes Stapleton (Mert), Edward Martin Nielsen, Marjorie Smith (Lou) and Margaret Ruth Whitney; her daughters, Sandra Simpson (Robert) of The Villages and Linda Sewell (Gary) of Ionia, Michigan; her sister Dorothy Anna Lyons of White Pigeon, Michigan; and her sisters-in-law, Anna Nielsen of Belding and Mary Mumby of Greenville, Michigan. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
