Though Brookie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edmond and Ruth Lorraine Thacker (Clark). She is survived by: her husband Robert A. Kawecki; her daughter Amanda Huizenga of Grand Rapids; her granddaughter Karissa Huizenga; her siblings, Rose Foster (George) of Greenville, Rick Thacker (Mary) of Belding and Mike Thacker (Vicki) of Belding; and her sister-in-law Cheryl Kawecki. She is also survived by several nieces nephews, cousins and friends.
