She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Chickering and Helen Chickering (McGeough); and her brother Thomas Chickering. She is survived by: her husband Gene; her children, Jim Chickering (Debbie) of Aurora and Daisy Cook (Curtis) of Shiloh; her grandchildren, Adam Sellers (Ashley) of Denver, CO, Rachel Maskil (Jimmy) of Cleveland, OH, Samantha, Justin Sellers and Aaron Cook; and her brother Richard Chickering (Mary Lou) of Belding.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home (203 Pleasant St, Belding, MI 48809). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in memory of Sis may be directed to Corewell Health Hospice.
