He was predeceased by: his parents, Fern Hopkins, and Cleo Hopkins, Sr.; his children, Todd and Jessica Hopkins; and his brother Jerry Hopkins.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Hopkins (Bradley); his daughters, Lydia Conley (Chris) of Greenville, Samantha Hopkins of Belding and Amanda Holyfield (Buddy) of Belding; his grandchildren, Isaiah Hopkins (Melissa Cross), Jesse Holyfield, Martin Holyfield, Nevaeh Harris, Alexzander Harris and Brooklynn Holyfield; his great grandchild Brantlee Hopkins; his grandchildren, Hailey Heft, Ethan King and Avery Cadwell; and his siblings, Virgil Hopkins (Bonnie) of Greenville, Ervin Hopkins (Julie) of Clifford Lake, Mae Loper of Fenwick, Julia King (Phil Jeffery) of Ionia, Ruth Coston (John) of Stanton and Dawn Jeffery of Belding.
