She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold M. "Nick" Geisen and Ellewyn Rena Geisen (Irish); her son Howard Garfield Christiansen, Jr.; and her parents-in-law, Garfield and June Christiansen.
She is survived by: her husband Howard G. Christiansen; her sisters, Carol Smith, Nancy Kliener and Mary Skivington; her children, Jodie, Kirk, Kim, Lori, Amanda and Ryan; her stepsons, Robert and John; and her siblings-in-law, Norma (Dan Hutchinson) and Wayne. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church (422 W High St, Belding, MI 48809).
Envelopes for contributions in Gayle's memory to either Holy Cross Lutheran Church or Corewell Health Hospice will be available at the church.
