John A. Swanson Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on November 27, 2025, at the age of 85, John A. Swanson of Belding, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Swanson and Lucille Swanson (Ferguson); his sister Mary Ann Kaczmarek; and his son-in-law Russ Bush. He is survived by: his wife Lee; his children, Jeff Swanson (Kay) of Belding, Beth Bush of Novi and John Swanson of Rockford; his grandchildren, Amy Jo Scarino (Ben), Justin Swanson (Lindsay), Ashley Wolfe (Eric), Brian Bush, Aden Swanson and Cole Swanson; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Maisie, Levi, Miles and Westyn; his sister Jean Anderson of Freesoil; and his brother-in-law Chet Kaczmarek of Manistee. He is also survived by three sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to express sympathy are welcome to consider a memorial donation in Jack's name to Belding Area Schools Industrial Arts or Athletic Programs, the St. Joseph Food Pantry or the IM Kids Third Meal Program. Donation envelopes may be obtained at the services or by contacting the funeral home.
