She was predeceased by: her parents, Leota Hassan and George Hassan; and her son Jason Bylsma. She is survived by: her sons, Shaun Bylsma (Lois) and Matthew Bysma; her sister Barbara Welch (Tom); her mother-in-law Betty Pixley; her stepmother Ruth Hassan (Terry); her stepchildren, Chris Mitchell (Joel), Melissa Sluss (Chad) and Dave Hendrick (Meri); her stepsiblings, Laurie Rau (Ron), Curt Hassan (Tina) and George Hassan (Kelly); her husband Larry; and her close friends, Dawn Jeffrey, Patty and Larry. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Green Corners Baptist Church (4998 Belding Rd, Belding, MI 48809). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
