He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Holyfield and Lillian "Pearl" Holyfield (Morris); his wife Winnie (Winnie); and his siblings, Grover (Buck), Ernest (Pocket), Hubert, Gavin, Tommy Gene (Snookie), Rex, Sam and Minnie Joyce.

He is survived by: his children, Jim (Betty Holyfield), Roblee Jr. (Sally Holyfield), Laurice Holyfield, John (Sue Holyfield), Tom (Sonya Holyfield) and Barbara (Ted Albert); and his brothers, Gilmore of Aquilla and Roy of Chicora, Mississippi.. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren plus 8 spouses and 30 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
