Thomas H. Jones Obituary
We announce the death of Thomas H. Jones of Belding, Michigan, who passed away on September 25, 2026, at the age of 79. Thomas will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Jones (Agner) and Howard Jones; his parents-in-law, Martin and Beth Wacha; and his brother-in-law Dave Bremer.
He is survived by: his wife Maggie Jones; his son Tom Jones III (Laura) of Grand Rapids; his grandchildren, Addison, Avery and Allie; his son Marty Jones (Erica) of Caledonia; his grandchildren, Madelyn, Oliver and Juliette; and his sisters-in-law, Marie Bremer, Marcia Slentz (Kelley) and Marlene Wacha. He is also survived by many extended family members, dear friends, former co-workers.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Verdun Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services (303 S Bridge St, Belding, MI 48809). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (409 S Bridge St, Belding, MI 48809).
The family will greet visitors at Church for an hour prior to the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Those considering an expression of sympathy are welcome to consider a contribution in Tom’s memory to the “B†Foundation thebfoundation.org.
