He was predeceased by: his parents, William Strauss and Rose Strauss; his wife Bonnie L Lewis; his brother Roger Strauss; his siblings-in-law, Jim Van Zalen, Bud Lewis (Ruthie), Connie Troll (Jack) and Sally Hebden (Chuck); and his great grandchild Kennedy Ann Strauss.
He is survived by: his children, Douglas Strauss (Nancy) and Susan Strauss; his grandchildren, Michael Strauss (Lauren), Ashley Culp and Melissa Dobias (Andy); his great grandchildren, Riley and Chloe Strauss; his sister Virginia Van Zalen; and his sister-in-law Phyillis Strauss. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
