She was predeceased by: her parents, Alberta Webb (Anderson) and David Lee Webb Sr.; her husband Jasper Gatson Sr.; her sister Dorothy James; her children, Robert Gatson and Diane Buck; her nephew Darrick Webb; and her grandchildren, Carlene, Darnell, Jackye, Jasmine and Max.
She is survived by: her brother David Lee Webb Jr. (Rochelle); and her children, Gloria Thompson, Joyce Sistrunk and Jasper Gatson Jr. (Aune). She is also survived by grand children, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was a regular blood donor at the American Red Cross and continued to donate to various organizations, including March of Dimes, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
