He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee and Pauline Cook (Collins) of Virginia; his father-in-law Leland Johnson; his brother James Wicker; and his nephews, Kurt and Dale Wicker.
He is survived by: his wife Caroline Janet Cook (Johnson); his children, Sheila Cook and Scott Cook (Katelyn); his mother-in-law Sybil Johnson of Belleville, MI; his brother Danny Cook (Deborah) of Texas; his sisters-in-law, Freida Wicker of Georgia and Judy Fleming (Larry) of Belleville, MI; his nieces and nephews, Danielle Lester (Adam) of Texas, Darcie Brodsky (Joe) of Texas, Shannon Cook (Ken) of Belleville, MI and Scott Wicker (Melanie) of Georgia; and his great-nephews, Joshua Kapanowski (Jessica) of Belleville, MI and Nicholas Ray (Kayli) of Belleville, MI. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
