He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry and Mary Irene O'Connor (Bothen). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Lee O'Connor (Swain); his children, Joseph Patrick O'Connor of Saline, MI, Michelle Snead (Greg) of Belleville, MI, Holly Becks of Troy, MI and Kimberly Avesian (Berge) of Bloomfield Hills, MI; his grandchildren, Justin, Josh Snead, Georgia and Jack Becks; and his siblings, James O'Connor (Jane) of South Hampton, Ontario, Brian O'Connor (Barb) of Chula Vista, Judith Briggs (Paul) of Denver and Bernie O'Connor (Darleen) of Raleigh. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Due to COVID-19, there is a limit of 25 people in the building and face coverings are required.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice, and would be appreciated.
