It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecil Taylor of Belleville, Michigan, born in New London, Ohio, who passed away on October 11, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Truman and Aletha Fern (Ross); his former wife Mary Ann Taylor (Wray); his son Samuel L. Taylor; and his siblings, Lauren Taylor and Susan Carpenter.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Mary Taylor (Bowler); his children, Elizabeth Meyer (Jeffrey) of Auburn Hills, MI, Kimberly Gonczy (Glenn) of Milan, MI, Paul Taylor (Jennifer) of Belleville, MI, Steven Taylor (Stacey) of Belleville, MI, April Lucas of Taylor, MI and Laurie Conde (Jason) of Belleville, MI; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Mariann, Glenn Jr. (Sara), Austin, Sarah, Haley and Devon; his great grandchildren, Hayden, Charlie and Olivia; his sister Jane Randall of Texas; and his pet Toby. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
