With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cornell Anton of Belleville, Michigan, who passed away on September 5, 2025 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Cornell Anton to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornell Sr. Anton and Florence Anton (Fleisher); his brother Clark Anton; his son-in-law Michael Melton; and his son Tim Katona.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Anton of Belleville, MI; his children, Karen Lara of Pequot Lakes, MN, Keith Anton (Lori) of Bend, OR and Pamela Melton of Belleville, MI; his daughter-in-law Cindy Katona of Belleville, MI; his grandchildren, Melissa, Matthew, Kaitlyn, Nathan and Lindsey; and his great grandchildren, Brian, Luke, Alina, Mira and Lily. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins, fellow veterans, neighbors and many friends.
